Cruiser Bicycles

Also called "Beach Cruisers", cruiser bicycles are for casual riders who want to take it slow. These bicycles are great for populated areas such as beach boardwalks. Cruiser bicycles typically do not have a lot of different gears, and many only have a single speed. They also may not have the best brakes: many beach cruisers only have coaster breaks where you stop the bicycle by pedaling backwards. Beach cruisers tend to be far less expensive than other types of bicycles, making them perfect for beginners and casual riders.
